Label Vision Systems, Inc. launches the LVS® RIMS™

“Solutions for Print Quality Applications and ISO Bar Code Verification”

Peachtree City, GA, March 24, 2009 – New product introduction.

LVS® introduces LVS® RIMS™ (Roll Inspection Mapping System) as a compliment to the high speed inline inspection system LVS® 7000. LVS® RIMS™ takes the label roll from the LVS® 7000 and positions the defects, which have been “flagged” electronically by the LVS® 7000, automatically at the inspection table for operator action; accept or remove. LVS® RIMS™ moves forward and backwards if the rewind inspection systems has that ability, with equal accuracy and eliminates manual flagging, inkjet, or other methods of flagging defects. Fast and accurate placement to the inspection table increases operator productivity tremendously. The system tracks actions taken thus providing a complete audit trail for 21CFR Part 11 and ISO Quality considerations.
